A&P by ARIEL McMILLION

A&P by... is an ongoing side project of London-based design and art direction firm Accept & Proceed. Creatives of all disciplines were asked to recreate the A&P logo. Aside from using only greyscale, and representing an A&P, there was no brief, allowing a free interpretation of Accept & Proceed’s very suggestive title. Back to school issue, in stores now! Art direction by Johan Blomgren, based on Ramones’ Rock’N’Roll High School album cover art. Entire magazine cover, front and back, is conceived as a notebook binder, covered in stickers. Notebook texture is printed in matte, sticker areas are gloss-coated. Click for full image.

Dimensional Demigods

Five newly commissioned paintings for 3D design house IndustriRomantik, based in Gothenburg (site). Expect further forays in this style. Pieces measure 80x122 cm (31x48”), each portraying one team member as a romanticized mythological demigod, tongue decidedly in-cheek. Click for full images.
